Roles and Responsibility

The project is a modern media company that brings together premium content, direct to consumer relationships, advertising technology and high-speed networks to deliver a unique customer experience. 

The client has recorded 34 consecutive years of quarterly dividend growth and is a Fortune 10 company. We are reinventing the way the media and entertainment industry works for consumers, content creators, distributors and advertisers. 

We are looking for a Jr. Business Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in the requirements process, working with development teams to discover, refine and document expected business outcomes in the Media and Communication domain.

 

  • Assists in the definition and management of requirements, in accordance with the software lifecycle development process;
  • Develops a good relationship with the development teams, working with them to discover, analyze and define business objectives, required changes and associated risks;
  • Elicits, specifies and documents requirements and acceptance criteria for the development of business information system;
  • Constantly looks for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer;
  • Uses simple tools and business analysis techniques for research, requirement gathering and business domain trends
  • Is aware of main standards and regulation in Media and Communication domain
Desired Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Analysis or in a related field (including BA trainings and BA courses)
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills, including technical and writing;
  • Tenacity, problem solving, quick and keen to learn and to help;
  • Familiar with Agile methodology;
  • Good planning, organizational and time management skills;
  • Good theoretical knowledge about software functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Basic understanding on how a business works (needs, vision, business value)
  • Desire to embrace new technologies and methods, be flexible and learn quickly
