As Senior Program Director you will manage one or more agile projects, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled digital team.
Defining project needs and feeding these into an organised process will enable people to be appropriately allocated. You will be core to decisions that build high performing teams, where people are excited about the work they are undertaking.
Main responsibilities
● Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
● Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
● Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, prepare and complete action plans, keep an eye on productivity, quality and customer-service standards
● Build and maintain motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards
● Coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques for their environment
● Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, analyze variances, initiate corrective actions
● Work closely with VP of Delivery, support departments (HR, Recruitment, Finance) and peer managers to achieve company goals, implement best practices and support a continuous innovation environment
● Take data driven decision as part of day to day activities
● Enhance department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunity to add value to job accomplishments
