The New Admin System Project will provide a new platform for Westfield’s Insurance and Health and Wellbeing transactions. The overarching aim is to create digital capability that services our customers. This will be achieved through a modular approach, migrating away from the existing admin system to the new with the aim of decommissioning the old system.

Deploy scalable and secure microservices applications

Design, deploy, manage, and document CI/CD pipelines

Perform application service performance analysis, and scale/load testing

Monitor application services and ensure alignment with availability requirements

Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.

Perform architecture and security reviews, identify gaps and develop remediation plan

Desired Skills

5+ years of practical experience in sysadmin and dev-ops engineering

Good scripting experience in one or more of the following: Bash, Python, Perl, Python

Experience working with cloud architecture on AWS including, but not limited to EC2, RDS (MySQL), VPC, Security Groups, S3, Lambda.

Experience with Docker containers

Experience and understanding to deploy and maintain container orchestration platforms such as ECS or Kubernetes

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools

Experience with logging and metrics tools

Good written and verbal English skills

High motivation and team player

Self driven in research and sharing best practices within the team

Nice to Have:

Experience with automated deployment of resources, Serverless deployments, Kubernetes clusters, AWS environments

Knowledge of Terraform and/or Cloud Formation 

Travel 

Some travel may be required for this role
